We’re excited to partner with artist Laxmi Hussain as our A&M Muse, who embodies embracing who you are and expressing yourself in jewellery and art. Laxmi is an artist specialising in life drawing, and we got to visit her studio to get to know more about her, where she looks for inspiration and her favourite jewellery of the moment.

Tell us about your work and what inspires you?

'I want to very much represent that all bodies are normal and different and that's really beautiful about who we are.' 'Three words that describe my art: blue, expressive and embracing.' 'I'm inspired by the body. More recently my own body, and how it's changed through motherhood, being a vessel in life and as we age how it also differs and adapts over time.'

How would you describe your jewellery style?

'I'd say my jewellery style is more is more. I love wearing jewellery - I think it's a really nice way to feel fun and expressive.' 'I love wearing rings, and I think they're just a part of who I am.'

What are you working on with A&M?

'I'm working on a collaboration with A&M, and we're working on some tattoo designs - some really fluid lines of the body.'

'We're also working on a really nice print, which will come out in time for International Women's Day - just a real celebration of women in all shapes and sizes.'
