The A&M Signature Design
- All of our pieces are designed to be stacked & layered. Versatility and wearability are the aim of each jewel, with the intention that they’ll become the foundation of your jewellery collection. When it comes to trends, we interpret them in a way that makes sense for your stack in the long run - not just for this season.
- All of our designs are created by our team in London, with each piece going through an extensive development and testing process, to meet our community’s needs on design, functionality and quality.
We’re continually looking at how we can reduce waste & environmental impact throughout the product’s development journey, like 3D printing wax models and consolidated sample shipments

our gemstones
100% of the Precious Gemstones shipped to us in 2024 are Lab-grown

Precious Lab-Grown Stones
Undeniably radiant, but cultured above ground. Lab-grown gemstones have the same physical properties as mined stones, without the human impact (it’s our favourite kind of science). We’ve been sourcing lab-grown diamonds since 2023, and have started to include lab-grown sapphires, rubies, emeralds & alexandrite in 2024.
We have some more work to do throughout our lab-grown gemstone supply chain. By 2028:
- 100% of lab grown diamonds & gemstones fully traceable back to source
- 100% of our lab-grown diamonds to be sourced through manufacturing partners who are SCS-007 certified
- 100% of our lab-grown diamonds produced using 100% certified renewable energy
- By 2030, we’d like at least 50% of our lab-grown gemstones (non diamond) to be produced using 100% certified renewable energy

Cubic Zirconia
Cubic Zirconia is a man-made gemstone, which recreates the sparkle of a diamond at an affordable price point, and with a lower impact. Around 60% of our sparkling pieces in titanium, brass & sterling silver use cubic zirconia stones.
And here’s the science behind it - it’s made of zirconium dioxide, and has a cubic crystalline form (as do diamonds, which is why it’s a great lookalike). It’s cultured in a lab, meaning it doesn’t involve mining for natural resources.
By 2028, we are aiming for 100% of the CZ stones used in A&M products to be traceable to Tier 2. Traceability gives us visibility of the impact of our pieces, and lets us plan more sustainable ways of managing our environmental and social impact.

Gemstone
Around 5% of our brass & sterling silver collection and 40% of our 9 & 14k gold collections are crafted using coloured gemstones, mainly White Topaz and Australian Opals.
We are committed to introducing more responsibly sourced gemstones into our supply chain, and a key part of this is understanding the source and mined origin of each gemstone, with complete visibility of its journey to our products. Our goal is to engage and understand our supplier partners at every level of this supply chain.
This is a huge industry-wide challenge, and our intention is to introduce a fully traceable gemstone collection by 2028, and 50% of gemstones used in 9 & 14k products sourced from a fully traceable supply chain by 2030.

Freshwater Pearls
All about pearls. Each unique freshwater pearl takes up to 3 years to culture, before being harvested. While transparency in pearls is difficult to achieve, our focus is to gain more understanding of the pearl supply chain, to incorporate more responsibly sourced pearls into our jewels. By 2028, we’d love to have introduced fully traceable pearls.

Our jewellery boxes
Like our jewellery, we’ve created our jewellery cases with quality in mind. Hand cut and hand stitched, we’ve chosen grained leather because of its durability. Our suppliers are certified by the Leather Working Group, which looks to build a more sustainable and conscious future within the leather industry.
Quality Assurance
- QIMA is our global third-party quality assurance partner, giving us on-site product inspections and compliance testing based on our newly shipped jewels. They helps us make sure that our pieces meet the highest quality standards, so they stay in your collection year after year, but also adhere to sustainable practices.
- Our customers' returns rate has dropped since implementing the additional quality assurance, really showing us that QIMA have helped us manage product quality overall, along with the help of our suppliers.
